Beginnings
by Kim Penner

Price range: $450.00 through $540.00

Description

A newborn foal leans softly into its mother, still discovering its legs and the steady comfort of her presence. Morning light filters through the trees, wrapping the pair in a gentle calm as they stand along a weathered wooden fence — the kind that has witnessed seasons of new life. Beginnings captures that tender, wordless bond between mare and foal, a moment where innocence, reassurance, and the start of a lifelong connection meet in one quiet scene.

FAQ

Are the prints limited editions?

Yes. Each canvas print is produced in a limited edition, signed and numbered by Kim. Once an edition sells out, it is permanently retired and never reproduced again.

Print colors are professionally calibrated to match Kim’s original acrylic painting. Minor variation may occur due to differences in screen brightness and color settings, but the print reflects the artist’s intended tones.

Both canvas and metal prints are created with archival pigment inks that are designed to last for decades without noticeable fading when displayed in normal home lighting.

Canvas prints may ship stretched and ready to hang or rolled for economical international shipping.

Metal prints ship flat with protective padding. Every order is packaged securely and includes tracking.

SN (Signed & Numbered) prints are the main body of the limited edition.
AP (Artist Proofs) are a smaller, more exclusive subset traditionally reserved for the artist. APs are identical in quality but more collectible due to their rarity.

Yes — Kim occasionally accepts private commissions for collectors. You can learn more or inquire directly through the Commissions page.
